Hurricane Wins Esports World Cup LCQ For Street Fighter 6

With the main Esports World Cup tournament kicking off this week, there was the small matter of getting through the LCQ and seeing the final 10 entrants for the tournament. This meant that once top 8 kicked off, it was something of a formality, but it wasn't without stakes as the winner and several participants got a little money for their efforts. 

In the end, it was Claude Eric "Hurricane" Diboti who took the win over Hikaru. 

The 10 qualified players are:

The 10 players are now in the main tournament with any of them having a chance to win the entire thing.

The tournament kicks off on Wednesday, the 20th of August 2025. The winner gets $250,000 and a spot at Capcom Cup 12.
