Harada Drops Deep Tekken Lore While Explaining Reina Voice Line
Character creation is no mean feat

Katsuhiro Harada, the man behind the Tekken series, has once again blessed fans with an unexpected lore drop explaining some behind the scenes situations around voice lines and character creation.

He did this in response to an X user who had speculated that one of Reina's voice lines when stepped on by Nina Williams might point towards her proclivities.

Clarifying the matter, Harada responded saying that the words Reina was saying were more akin to a dare. He then went on to explain that he had the idea for years and how it all led to the development of voice lines in the Tekken franchise.

Harada would also admit that he was responsible for the English localization of the early Tekken games and he apologized for the mistakes that the game was ridden with at the time. He also regaled fans with the stories of how popular characters like Dragunov and Lili were created.

It is a long read, but it really brings to the fore why Tekken is such a special game.
