Haitani Joins Street Fighter 6 Battle Hub as Special V-Rival

Capcom announced that Haitani is being added to Street Fighter 6 as a special V-Rival opponent in the Battle Hub. The event lets players fight AI versions based on Haitani’s playstyle, with Li-Fen preparing a selection of playable characters tied to the longtime tournament competitor. Rewards will also be available for participating during the event period.

Haitani remains one of Japan’s most respected fighting game veterans, known for high-level performances across multiple titles and generations of Street Fighter. His inclusion continues Capcom’s use of the V-Rival system to spotlight notable competitive players while giving fans a way to interact with their playstyles directly in-game instead of only through tournament footage.
