Good 8 Squad Announce Street Fighter League Japan Lineup
As expected, Sahara joins the team

Good 8 Squad is understood to be the most successful Street Fighter team in recent times, having won Street Fighter League Japan in 2022 and 2024, while also taking the SFL World Championships for those two years also.

With the upcoming 2025 SFL season coming up, Good 8 Squad has moved to release their roster for the season, and it will consist of:

  • Gachikun
  • Kawano
  • Pugera
  • Sahara

Good 8 Squad announced the signing of Sahara in January of 2025, and he has since gone to several tournaments trying to qualify for the Esports World Cup. He is now an official part of the SFL squad and will be competing in his first season of the much-respected league.

Good 8 Squad have traditionally kept a very steady team that has brought them great success and, since 2021, they have always had a different player join them on a temporary basis to compete in SFL Japan. In 2021, it was Kichipa; 2022 saw Dogura win the championship with them. In 2023, they had Tachikawa, and in their most recent win, they added YHC-Mochi to the title-winning team.

With Sahara, since he is an official member of G8S, it is possible that this will be their team moving forward for the foreseeable future.

With the G8S announcement, all the teams for Street Fighter League Japan have now been filled out and fans can now look forward to August when the battles will begin in what promises to be an amazing season of Street Fighter.
