GBVSR Free Players To Get Entire Base Roster For Free

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising are letting players of the free edition of the game have access to the entire base roster for free this week. 

GBVSR is available for purchase for $49.99 on Steam, but potential players also have access to a free version, which they can play at any time, but with limited functionality. One of the biggest misses with the free edition is that players only have access to Gran and three other characters in a weekly rotation. But for this week, starting from the 1st of May to the 7th, players will have all 28 characters available for free. 

Players will be able to hop online and play both ranked and casual matches, all for free. 

That said, it is unlikely that players will have access to any of the DLC characters even with this free pass. But this is a brilliant way to drum up more interest in the game. For those who are on the free version, their data and save file can be transferred to the premium version, making for a smooth transition. 

The free period lasts from May 1-7.
