Free Stream Announced for Capcom Cup Top 16 and SFL Finals
It will have been 12 days by then
With the dust settling after the conclusion of the Capcom Cup, Capcom has announced that the final stages of the tournament will be streamed for free on YouTube this coming weekend.

Capcom faced significant backlash following its decision to place the final stages of the 2026 Capcom Cup behind a paywall, preventing many fans from experiencing the event without paying.

There were some concessions, including a free stream within the game’s Battle Hub. However, this came with lower quality and was limited to a smaller number of viewers who could access the hub. Capcom had announced back then that the tournament would be available for free, but at a much later date.

The announcement was made on social media, confirming that on March 29, the second day and Grand Final of the Street Fighter League World Championship will be streamed first, followed by the Top 16 of the Capcom Cup, all for free.

This comes 12 days after the conclusion of the tournament. While some fans have avoided spoilers and are waiting for the free broadcast to see how it all played out, many others have already had the results spoiled.

Will People Tune In For Capcom Cup 12's Free Stream?

It will be interesting to see how many viewers tune in for the stream. The numbers could serve as an indicator of whether fans are still interested in watching the event unfold after the delayed free release.
