SNK really did mean it that they want all Fatal Fury characters to come back for City of the Wolves. With Season 2 nearly over (with only Kenshiro's release still pending), they are already teasing the next character, who will likely appear as part of Season 3.

The character in question is Rick Strowd, a Native American boxer who who only really had one proper game appearance almost 30 years ago.

If you played King of Fighters but not Fatal Fury, you will likely still find his gameplay to be somewhat familiar, as he has some overlap with Heavy D and a lot of overlap with Vanessa, to a point where you could call her a replacement/substitute character.

If you're a fan of pure boxing characters, this is gonna be the one, though it's interesting how some of his slower and multi-hitting moves will work out in a game with powerful parry options.
