The Chilean prodigy is a free agent looking for a sponsor for the esports world cup
Craime, the Chilean prodigy who is the current talk of the town within the FGC, has announced his free agency and says that he is looking for a sponsor.
The 14-year-old has now qualified for the Esports World Cup thanks to his high placing at CEO and the fact that the other players above him had already qualified. He is now looking for an organization to represent at the summer tournament.
He made a short statement on social media where he said: "Now that I am qualified for EWC I am announcing I am currently a free agent for the CPT season and EWC! Any teams interested can dm me or email me at… very excited to train hard and win EWC!"
Craime came to prominence after a stunning performance at last year's Blink Respawn where he took 4th place. But since then, his compatriot, Blaz, took 2nd place at Capcom Cup which more or less made all the hype about his prodigious talent. At CEO, Craime was able to remind people that he is just as good defeating the likes of Daigo, and fellow youngster, NotPedro, to finish in Top 8.
Craime was signed on to Black Esports since 2023, but seems to have left and is on the lookout for another team. It'll be interesting the sorts of opportunities he could get following such an impressive showing.
However, there are some potential problems regarding his eligibility. The first is that, according to the rules and regulations of the EWC, teams should have been done with acquisitions and representatives by the 31st of May 2025, a date that has now passed. Also, he's 14, which might make him too young to travel for the tournament. There doesn't seem to be any universal restriction on age, but it remains to be seen if Craime is in the clear.
