Ed Fighting Pass Revealed For Street Fighter 6

Ed will be released on the 27th of February 2024 right after Capcom Cup. 

The Street Fighter X account released a preview video which showcased the fighting pass that will come along with the character who has been much anticipated  by the fanbase. 

Going by the video, we see that players will be gifted with some fighter coins, and cosmetic upgrades including clothes that belong to Ed in Street Fighter 6. 

Ed is the third of four DLC characters added to the game and once he arrives, fans can look forward to the ever impressive Akuma who will be the last character of the season 1 content for the game. The other characters, Rashid, and A.K.I. have been released earlier.

Also in the trailer, it was noticeable that there were several Capcom Cup themed items. The Battle Hub will be decorated with Capcom Cup themes and so will some of the stages it seems. 

In addition to this, a new game has been added to the arcade section, Captain Commando. This is a 1991 side-scrolling beat-em-up game which was rather popular at the time. It was, of course, made by Capcom, and players can now either relive their childhoods, or become acquainted with an awesome retro game. 

Capcom Cup's Last Chance Qualifier will take place between the 16th and the 18th of February 2024.
