With Street Fighter League Japan 2024 coming ever closer, more and more teams are releasing their rosters with the latest to do so being Saishunkan Sol Kumamoto.
The team who have done really well in recent seasons, taking 2nd place in 2022 only losing to Good8Squad in Grand Finals and taking 3rd in 2023 losing to Detonation FocusMe in the playoffs, have focused on increasing their firepower for the coming season.
Their 2024 chances were dealt a huge blow when one of their top performers, Shuto, left to join Crazy Raccoon. Also, Sasamo who they recruited for the first stage of 2023 and Kabe (now Cosa) who they had for the 2nd half of the season are both competing under IBUSHIGIN. This left the team with just team captain, Nemo and young superstar, Higuchi.
But Saishunkan Sol had an ace on their sleeves recruiting both Daigo Umehara, who had taken a break off Street Fighter League last time around to focus on personal projects and also grow in Street Fighter 6, and Fuudo, the most dangerous player on the Detonation FocusMe roster last season, to the team.
The addition of these two players gives the Saishunkan Sol roster a powerful look with great character spread and expertise. Nemo uses JP pretty well while Higuchi is a legend with Guile. Daigo has gone back to Ken as a main and Fuudo's Dee Jay is one of the strongest in the world.
