Daigo & ACQUA Lead New Rankings of Japan’s Top SF6 Streamers
Such data is only going to become more prevalent in future

A lecturer from Osaka Seikei University has published new data highlighting the most prominent Street Fighter 6 players in Japan based on their YouTube subscriber counts and Twitch streaming hours.

The list focuses exclusively on competitors currently active in Street Fighter League Japan, offering insight into which players have the strongest reach and engagement with fans. High streaming hours typically suggest a more consistent community presence, while YouTube subscribers often reflect broader influence and brand power.

According to the report, ACQUA from Hiroshima Team iXA leads the field in streaming hours with 2,893 hours logged. He is followed closely by Momochi, while Torimeshi rounds out the list with 2,028 hours.

On YouTube, Daigo Umehara remains unmatched with 270,000 subscribers, while Bonchan takes the tenth spot with roughly 71,000 subscribers.

A few players stand out for ranking highly on both lists, demonstrating a balance between consistency and popularity. Among them is Dogura of Crazy Raccoon, who has amassed more than 250,000 subscribers and streamed over 2,500 hours.

With the continuing success of Street Fighter 6 in Japan, these numbers highlight how players are turning competitive gaming into sustainable careers. This type of data could also prove valuable for teams and sponsors looking to expand their reach by signing players with strong audience connections.
