Crazy Raccoon Cup 7 For Street Fighter 6 Announced

The much-lauded Crazy Raccoon Cup has announced its 7th edition for the month of February 2024. 

The tournament has played a huge role in the popularity of Street Fighter 6 in Japan as it pits up-and-coming Street Fighter 6 players against one another. It started in 2023 and has been running strong, with regular tournaments bringing in thousands and thousands of viewers. 

The participants and teams are yet to be announced and it will be interesting to see if they will go the same way they went in the 6th edition which did not feature the regular top-level pro players. 

One of the benefits of the CR Cup is that it has significantly raised the level of Japanese players overall as even the most amateurish players are now in Master rank. 

The event will start from the 16th of February 2025.
