Combo Breaker 2025 Crosses 1000 Registrations In First Week
The 10th anniversary is already looking good

Combo Breaker is a fighting game tournament that holds in Illinois every year and has become a staple of the North American FGC.

The 2025 edition has already been announced and will be the 10th anniversary of the tournament and as it stands there have been over 1000 registrations in the first week of its announcement (which was on the 3rd of January)

General Manager of Evo and the creator of Combo Breaker, Rick Thiher, popularly known as The Hadou, wrote on social media about the feat stating that back when they started the event, there were fears that they would not cross the 1000-entrant mark which was the measuring stick for success of the event. However, they have surpassed that with over 1000 registrations in the first week with more surely to come.

Combo Breaker 2025 will run between the 23rd and 25th of May 2025.
