Cloud9 Signs JB

Jonathan "JB" Bautista, one of the top players in North America, has joined up with Cloud9 as their representative for Street Fighter 6. 

JB has been incredibly consistent in Street Fighter 6 winning DreamHack Atlanta in 2023 over Punk, and taking 3rd place at the Capcom Cup X Last Chance Qualifier where he defeated John Takeuchi, and one of the favorites, Kakeru, in the competition. 

JB had been without an organization for a while with his Twitch chat regularly sponsoring his forays into competitions.

He will be Cloud9's first venture into Street Fighter and the only player for that game on their roster. They also have Yuyu for Tekken 8 as we see more and more teams add to their fighting game rosters. 

JB also made a video posted by the Cloud9 account where he thanked all his fans for their support and claimed that it had always been a dream of his to represent such a storied esports team. 

He will be at the Level Up Expo this weekend as opposed to Evo Japan as he starts his journey as a Cloud9 player.
