Capcom Wants to Know Which Remakes You Need
Obviously we all want a proper Dino Crisis remale, right?

The past few years for Capcom marked a massive return to their former glory. It arguably started in 2017 with Resident Evil 7 steering the franchise back towards survival horror, instead of 3rd person shooter with a horror aesthetic. In the time since, they have also set a new standard of what a proper remake should look like, with Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes.

Despite plenty of original titles, remakes remain to be a big part of Capcom's new strategy, and their new "Election" vote seeks to find out which games you want to see in the future. After picking your favorite game, character, and describing how you feel about Capcom, they present you with some of their both iconic and obscure titles that include:

  • Devil May Cry
  • Monster Hunter
  • Mega Man
  • Darkstalkers
  • Okami
  • Ace Attorney
  • Street Fighter
  • Sengoku Basara
  • Dino Crisis
  • Dead Rising
  • Dragon's Dogma
  • Toraware No Paruma
  • Vs. Capcom
  • Resident Evil
  • Final Fight
  • Breath of Fire
  • Ghosts 'n Goblins
  • Lost Planet
  • 1942
  • Onimusha

And several others. As you can see, the list is extensive to say the least, and you can also specify if what you wanted is not listed here. With fighting games being niche compared to many of these IPs, it's not too likely that Darkstalkers or Sengoku Basara would get a significant amount of votes, but it's another piece of hope that we could see these titles come back in the future.
