A.K.I.'s Serpent Lash Will Act as An Anti-Air
The serpentine character will join the SF6 roster this month and we are getting some info about how she'll work

A.K.I. is the upcoming character that will join the Street Fighter 6 roster later this month and the excitement around her has been building steadily.

Ever since she was leaked last year, she was the most fascinating of the new cast as her design was the weirdest and she was also someone whose kit couldn't be speculated from just seeing her.

Then her teaser dropped at Evo and fans were enamored. Once her trailer dropped and we got a good look at some of the things she is capable of, fans must have been salivating at the prospects.

Well, thanks to the official Street Fighter account, we caught another very small glimpse of what she can do.

A.K.I. has a lot of things that F.A.N.G. had including the poison mechanic. However, A.K.I.'s will be utilized a little differently. According to the post, her move, Serpent Lash, will pump poison into the opponent. It feels like a projectile that will hit horizontally. But, there's a twist as we have now learned that the heavy version will go vertically which means it can catch opponents jumping and act as an anti-air.

This means you can try a jump and catch a bad case of poisoning without being able to block it.

It is hoped we see a lot more of A.K.I. before she actually drops and it looks like she will be a handful for opponents.
