Capcom Releases Prequel Story For Street Fighter 6
The company announced that they will be releasing a series of comics to get people ready for Street Fighter 6

In a post shared on their Street Fighter Twitter page, Capcom has revealed that it will be releasing a series of prequel comics that will tell the story of Street Fighter 6, which is less than a month away.

In the tweet, they shared the link to the first issue that anyone is free to read.

The comic features artists from Capcom and UDON comics, with the art done by industry legend, BENGUS while the cover art was made by Shinkiro.

One of the biggest mysteries regarding Street Fighter 6 is the story, with most people in the dark as to how it will follow up from Street Fighter III, which is the last game on the story's timeline.

In this comic, we get some answers, and we see from the get-go that the likes of Luke, Ken, and JP are going to be very influential in the game's plot.

We also start to see the reason why Ken is on the run.

A few neat things we were made privy to include the reveal of JP's full name (It's “Johann Petrovich”) and a look into the dynamics between Mel and his father, Ken. It does seem like Ken is turning exactly into his father, and it shows in his relationship with Mel.

Also, we learn that Ken might be into crypto, which might give some of his detractors more of a reason to hate him.

Finally, we got a look at what Nayshall is and what role the small nation will play in the overall narrative.

The comic is free, and with more issues to come, we might be able to properly piece together what to expect from the story of Street Fighter 6.
