Capcom Records 21% Sales Profit After Blistering Year
It has been a strong year for Capcom

Capcom have announced their fiscal results for the year ending March 2024 with a strong showing which has seen them net 152,410 million yen in net sales profits which is a 21% increase to their results from the year before.

In a statment on the Capcom website, the company said, "During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024, Capcom’s core Digital Contents business drove results, delivering annual sales of 45.89 million units for its home video game software, marking a year-over-year increase. The company achieved this with Street Fighter 6, which leads the Group’s esports activities, the release of Dragons Dogma 2 launched in March 2024, and promotional activities to gain wider recognition for its IPs and acquire new fans."

Street Fighter 6, Dragon's Dogma, and Monster Hunter Now were all released in that time frame by Capcom and have all done really well. Street Fighter 6 has sold over 3 million copies as at January 2024, and with the second season of the game coming up and the release of Akuma, you can expect that there will be more sales.
