Capcom Pro Tour North America/Canada Midwest Results: The Final One
The final CPT has now concluded and the we now have 47 of the 48 players for Capcom Cup

The Capcom Pro Tour is now concluded with all the regions done and the players from there qualified leaving only the Last Chance Qualifier which will take place next month just before the tournament proper.

Sayff from Canada was the winner after a clean 3-0 win over JOE UMEROGAN who had already qualified for Capcom Cup earlier and was playing gatekeeper in this tournament.

Sayff defeated JAK in the winner's final and with JOE UMEROGAN winning against JAK in loser's final, Sayff was automatically qualified. But, to ensure that he was not simply 'gifted' his place at Capcom Cup, he went ahead to win the set against JOE to take his place among the 48-person contingent for Capcom Cup.

There were other great players in the bracket including Zhen, who will now look to repeat his incredible feat at the Capcom Cup LCQ last year, this time around. There  was also Dual Kevin who had qualified, Hsein, and Hamad who used E. Honda to make top 8.

The top 8 were as follows:

  • 1. Sayff
  • 2. JOE UMEROGAN
  • 3. JAK
  • 4. Zhen
  • 5. Dual Kevin
  • 5. ZachInABox
  • 7. Hamad
  • 7. Hsien

With all the CPTs now done, attention turns to the big one. Capcom Cup will hold in February from the 21st to the 25th with the Last Chance Qualifier taking place between thee 16th and 18th.
