Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Middle East: The Birds Are In the Cup!

Both the birds are now in Capcom Cup courtesy of a fun Grand Final win for Big Bird over his close friend and Evo winner for 2023, AngryBird.

There was a little surprise that the Evo champ entered into this tournament considering he is already qualified for Capcom Cup, but there is no rule against a finalist partaking in the online CPT event, so he wasn't doing anything wrong.

It did seem like he was testing out his pocket character, Cammy, in a tournament setting to see how well the character can do, and judging by how far he was able to get, his Cammy might be a serious counter to some of the JPs he might come up against.
