Capcom Cup 12 Last 16 Revealed

After 3 thrilling days of action, the top 16 for the 2026 Capcom Cup is now set. 

The premier Street Fighter tournament kicked off in earnest on Wednesday and it has been a time of upsets, hype sets and incredible emotion. One of the best sets already was between last year’s runner-up, Blaz, and Esports World Cup winner, Xiao Hai with the set going down to the last encounter and Blaz taking the victory. 

Capcom Cup 12 Format

Capcom Cup 12 utilized a GSL format which sees four players in a group. The first two play out a set and the other two do likewise. The winners of both play each other and the one who emerges victorious goes on to the last 16. 

The second day then saw the rest of the group duke it out with the loser of the winners’ final facing the winner between the two players who lost the day before. Whoever then wins that set moves on to the second phase. The second phase had three players in four groups with a round robin format. The player with the most wins, or rounds then makes it to the top 16. 

As it stands the top 16 looks like this:

• Blaz vs Chris Tartarian
• Fuudo vs Big Bird
• Sahara vs Xerna
• Dual Kevin vs Momochi
• Vxbao vs Kincho
• Leshar vs Higuchi
• Micky vs MenaRD
• Kilzyou vs Itabashi Zangief

The top 16 will be played on Sunday the 15th of March 2026 with a Capcom Cup 12 champion to be crowned that day.
