There will be a lot for fans to sink their teeth into
Street Fighter 6 has announced a collaboration with Monster Hunter Wilds that will run through the month of September.
Capcom’s latest entry in the Monster Hunter franchise has been an exciting addition to their robust catalog. Fans have flocked to the game, and now it seems that Street Fighter 6 will also be getting in on the action.
The collaboration event introduces several new cosmetics for players to customize their characters and avatars.
New EX Colors
One of the first additions in the collaborative event is a set of new colors for existing fighters. There will be five colors modeled after monsters from Monster Hunter, available for the following characters: Cammy, Blanka, Ken, Akuma, and Manon.
Blanka’s look is modeled after Rey Dau, a monster known for its lightning abilities. Akuma’s is based on Ajarakan, which is notably the same monster he faces in his own crossover event in Monster Hunter. Manon’s outfit takes inspiration from Lala Barina, Ken’s from Arkveld, and Cammy’s is paired with the iconic Palico.
Avatar Gear
The event also introduces several new items for avatars, including weapons and special titles.
Cosmetics
In addition, players will receive various cosmetic items, and even the Battle Hub will adopt a Monster Hunter theme.
The voting period runs from September 1 to September 30. Players can speak to Eternity about their voting and gain additional votes by playing on cabinets and participating in avatar battles.
Further details are available on the official Street Fighter website.
This collaboration may draw more players toward Monster Hunter Wilds, while the new cosmetics will excite fans who have long been asking for more outfits and colors in Fighting Ground.
