Brawlhalla Announces the Winter Championship 2023

It’s happening! Brawlhalla Esports Year Eight has been officially announced, and the first event is right around the corner.

Sure, we totally had some cool community tournaments after the spectacular BCX 2022. We even had an online event during the winter holidays — Galaxy Cup: Blizzard. But the official esports fights are somewhat more exciting. Big prize pools and World Championship points attract super-strong players and motivate them to do their best in every match. And the viewership rewards gather thousands of gamers on the streams.

Well, we are happy to spread the good news — Brawlhalla Winter Championship 2023 has been confirmed. It happens on two weekends:

• Singles, on February 3-5

• Doubles on February 10-12

The competition takes place in five traditional regions: Australia, Southeast Asia, Europe, South America, and North America.

But have you noticed the difference in comparison with the previous Winter Championship (and actually with every other official event)? Yep, they start with the Singles matches.

Let’s make a theory in this regard. (It would be fun to have a conspiracy theory, but we can’t coin one. Could you?) So, the Brawlhalla development team might decide to shed more light on the 2v2 matches to get a decent response to the fuss around MultiVersus and its team mechanics. This competition may give us some really cool improvements — gameplay- and tournament-wise. 

Anyways… Are you excited about the start of Brawlhalla Esports Year Eight? We still don’t have info on the total prize pool, but $100,000 for the first event looks pretty impressive.

Another thing to mention is that Brawlhalla Ranked Season 26 ends on January 11. And this also means the start of the 27th. So, meet us on the fighting platforms showing off all the cool tricks we’ve learned thanks to long practice.
