Big Bird Begs Capcom Not to Buff Lily with Hibiki the Beast Looming

Red Bull have announced the next set of players that will compete for the Red Bull Kumite title. They revealed the players in a promotional video where it was revealed that iDom, AngryBird, Chris Wong and Hibiki the Beast will be joining the tournament. 

In response to the video, Big Bird, who was amongst the first players invited joked by asking Capcom not to buff Lily in season 2 of the game due to the absolute menace that Hibiki could cause with a stronger Lily. 

It was a humorous exchange to which Hibiki responded with a laugh.

Hibiki is a player who might not be well known outside of Japan, but he is easily the best Lily player in the world and has used the low-tier character to achieve some incredible results.

Red Bull Kumite represents a chance for the player to show off his prowess to the wider world. 

Big Bird is well aware of the abilities of Hibiki considering he traveled to Japan and played several sets with the player along with other Japanese greats. 

Hibiki still has a chance to be at Capcom Cup, but will need to fend off some intense competition to make it into the showpiece event. But we will get to see the player strut his stuff when Red Bull Kumite commences from the 16th to the 17th of March 2024
