Big Bird Leaves NASR Esports
The Evo 2023 winner and 2024 finalist are now free agents

For many years AngryBird and Big Bird were almost synomymous with NASR Esports, the organization they have belonged to for almost a decade. However, the news has come out today that the birds are leaving the organization and are now free agents.

Big Bird revealed this information on social media, saying that he was grateful for all that they have done for him and he wishes them all the best in their future endeavors. AngryBird also did the same with the same senitment.

The birds were hugely with NASR with Big Bird winning Red Bull Kumite in 2023, and making Evo Grand Finals in both 2019, and 2024. He was also the winner of DreamHack Summer 2024 which qualified him for the Esports World Cup. AngryBird of course was the Evo champion of 2023 along with so many other incredible accolades.

The two were also a huge part of the NASR team that did so well at Street Fighter League USA season after season.

The reasons for their departure are mostly unknown and the official NASR account has yet to say anything about this bombshell.

Any team will be lucky to have the two players and it'll be interesting to see what develops in the near future. What is clear is that they will not remain free agents for long.
