Arslan Ash Was The World's Most Popular Fighting Game Player For 2024

Liquipedia, which is one of the biggest esports platforms released a report on its most visited pages for 2024, and sitting at the top of the FGC pile is none other than Arslan Ash. 

The Pakistani player made history by winning Evo for an unprecedented 5th time in 2024 with an impressive win in Tekken 8 which was followed by a slew of other great performances. Arslan Ash is widely considered the greatest Tekken player in history and it seems that popularity has resonated even outside his game. 

In a list of the most visited pages, Arslan rose from 2nd place in 2023 to the top spot in 2024. He was followed by Street Fighter 6's Evo winner, Punk. Xiao Hai was in third place after his incredible and emotional win at the Esports World Cup while MenaRD and SonicFox rounded out the top 5. 

The most famous Japanese players remain Diago Umehara and Tokido who were 8th and 9th most visited pages respectively.
