All KOF XV Participants At Evo Japan To Get Free T-Shirts

The King of Fighters XV will be one of the games featured at Evo Japan in 2024 and SNK, the company that develops the game, are looking at a way to give back to fans. 

In light of this, the company announced on social media that everyone who registers for the game at Evo Japan will be privy to a free t-shirt in the size of their choice. All they have to do is visit the SNK booth during the tournament and they can cop some sweet shirts. 

It is a nice gesture, but it is also possibly a way to drum up more interest in the game as the registration numbers show that there has been a drop off in interest in a compeitive seense for the game since its release in 2022. 

This was shown in a tweet by @Mekikung who outlined the registration numbers for KOF XV between 2022 and now at both Evo and Evo Japan. The numbers show that there was a huge drop from over 1000 entrants for KOF XV at Evo 2022 to just under 700 at Evo 2023. Also for Evo Japan, 2023 saw 800 players register while 2024 is under 500. 

Shirts might not be enough to make those numbers go back to their former state, but it perhaps pushes the dedicated player just a little bit.
