2XKO has introduced a new fuse called Team Fight, set to launch on the 12th of May 2026.
Fuses are a playstyle modifier that create extra options with which players can express themselves. There are currently five of them in the game, with Team Fight being the newest and arguably the most ambitious addition to the roster so far.
What is Team Fight?
Team Fight is a new fuse that particularly caters to duos. In Team Fight, both players in a duo can independently control their characters on screen simultaneously for seven seconds. This brings a level of variety to the playstyle options in the game that none of the existing fuses have matched.
In the video showcasing how the fuse works, the developers were clear that while Team Fight is extremely powerful, it comes with meaningful drawbacks. When both characters are on screen together, no team actions are available to either player. Neither player is able to activate supers during that window either.
For the defending side, the challenge is significant but not insurmountable. Every hit landed against the Team Fight duo shaves time off the fuse duration, and landing a super will terminate it altogether. It is a high-risk, high-reward tool that demands a response from whoever is on the receiving end.
