Superman was forced to flee his home planet of Krypton as a young baby. After his crash landing on earth, he was adopted by an old couple of farmers, Martha and Jonathan Kent, who named him Clark. Over the years, his superhuman abilities powered by the sun would grow. Understanding the strength he held within him, he took on the moniker of Superman and vowed to protect the earth and bring justice to the world. To do this, he would also join forces with Batman and Wonder Woman, creating the Justice League.
Physically, Superman only has one weakness, that being Kryptonite. To be struck by it or even near it will have an immediate effect on Superman, weakening him and virtually knocking him out. But some of those who oppose him need not match his power. Superman is intelligent and cunning in many ways but by no means a genius capable of outsmarting every foe. For that reason, some of Superman's greatest enemies will attempt to outplay the man of steel, if that fails, to threaten that which he loves and wishes to protect the most.
In his secret identity, that of Clark Kent, he is a shy reporter, one that would go unnoticed by most. Though once he is called into action and asked to protect others, he is quick to emote his empathy for others. A man of principle and one that values justice above many things.
Superman’s gameplay style is best defined as a combo and armor-breaker beast. He also benefits from armor, as two of his normal attacks provide him with armor. For his specials, he has a couple of ranged attacks that can inflict either ignite or ice, depending on the need. Finally, his passive allows him to dodge upwards from the ground.
Superman’s classic red and blue colors are on full display in MultiVersus, as well as his bright red cape and golden belt. Besides the classic look, his One Million attire, also called Superman Prime, based on the series DC One Million, is available.
