Story

When you talk about the TYPE-MOON universe, Saber is one of the first images that instantly comes to mind. Although Melty Blood: Type Lumina is based on a visual novel, "Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon", Saber's appearance here would cause no questions.

So who is Saber? That is an incorrect question. Saber is a class of servants, and we talk here about its most famous representative, Artoria (or Altria) Pendragon.

Artoria was a part of the famous "King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table" legend. Back then, she had to pretend to be a man, so many believed the "King of Knights" was a male. 

After her death, she became one of the many Heroic Spirits, and she would be summoned during the Grail Wars as a powerful "Servant".

However, this time she was summoned without a usual ritual. In order to find answers, Artoria went on her journey to search Souya.

Personality 

Some can say Artoria has a cold attitude. Some can recognize her strong will. Saber is ready to do what is needed to be done to achieve goals. You wouldn't expect anything else from a monarch, would you? A code of Honor is crucial to her, so don't expect cheap tricks from her, although she sometimes may deceive you. However, usually, she would speak the truth.

Playstyle

Saber is one of the best options for those players who are more defence-oriented. She is not that good in full attack rush, cause her attacks are rather predictable. What is her bread and butter is spacing and punishment. Saber has a fast dash, and explosive damage that, combined with strong meter efficiency, may lead to huge problems for her opponent.

Saber is a young woman with blonde hair and green eyes. She wears a blue dress together with silver armour.
