Noel

Story

Noel used to be an ordinary young girl who worked in her parents' cafe in their hometown in France, making friends with Eastern exchange students. One night, Roa, with a group of Dead Apostle Ancestors, attacked the town, surrounding it with an impassable wall. Noel's mother and many others tried to climb it to escape, only to be crushed by another wall that appeared behind them and closed in. A few survivors, including Noel's father, were imprisoned in a local church building where Roa tortured and killed them. In the end, Noel and Ciel were the only survivors left. Noel grew with a deep hatred for Roa, as well as for Ciel for surviving that massacre. These horrible events were the reason she decided to become an Executor.

Noel spent three years training to become an Exucutor since originally she had no talent for it as an ordinary person. After two years of being an apprentice, she started to consider herself a proper Executor, but later on, she got into trouble with a church and was forced to look for protection, which she found in Ciel, becoming her partner and pupil for years to come. Noel is posing as a homeroom teacher and an English and P.E. teacher at Metropolitan Souya High School

Personality

Noel desperately desires to live a life of a normal woman while she's undercover as a teacher. She gives off a friendly impression, and her cheerful and flirtatious behavior gained her popularity among the boys in the school. She does her hair and nails fashionably before going on vampire hunts, decorating her polearm, taking breaks from work to grab something from a vending machine, and other things an ordinary person would do. 

However, behind this seemingly friendly appearance hides a strong inferiority complex, hatred towards Ciel due to her immortality, as Noel considers her a monster no better than vampires they hunt, and a twisted desire to inflict pain on anyone she considers weaker than herself. Noel promised some newborn vampires a chance for a cure and then killed them or used sacraments to awaken the ability to feel pain on her undead targets just to torture them. 

Appearance

Noel is a woman in her late twenties with brunette hair and brown eyes. As a teacher, she wears a blue blazer and a pencil skirt over a white skirt. As an Executor, she wears a button-up nun's habit, a traditional coif, a nun's veil, and knee-high combat boots.

Playstyle

Noel is a rushdown character with good mid and far pokes and powerful sweeping attacks. She's a relatively easy well-rounded character to play with a decent number of mid-range options to convert into combos and some far-reaching attacks to prevent the opponent's approach. However, these great normals come with a long recovery and must be timed perfectly. Otherwise, Noel will find herself in trouble. And her Black Key projectiles, while being great with a nice frame advantage, are limited for a round, therefore, need to be used wisely.
