Orochi Chris

Story

His true origin is obscured by mystery. He once joined forces with Yashiro Nanakase and Shermie to establish the rock group CYS, which is made up of the initial letter of each band member's name. He served as the lead vocalist for the group. By individually defeating and stealing the invitations of the qualifying American Sports Team (Heavy D!, Lucky Glauber, and Brian Battler), he, Yashiro, and Shermie entered the King of Fighters 1997 to become the New Face Team. He made the decision to enter after the preliminary matches had concluded. Their primary motivation for competing was Yashiro's vendetta towards rival band leader Iori Yagami, who had outperformed them in popularity, and his desire to get revenge on him.

Chris is more concerned with gaining the attention the CYS merits. Their band comes first, although he wants to bring about the world's end or cause strife among the Three Sacred Treasures.

Personality

Like his typical self, Orochi Chris is shy and rarely talks to unknown people, but he develops a nasty attitude as he reveals his genuine malice and loathing for everyone, threatening undesired people with his flames. In confrontations, he becomes snarky and arrogant, especially while confronting opponents that are truly stronger than him. In this character, he approaches borderline psychopathy.

Playstyle

Though he has no experience in martial arts, his attacks utilize his small frame and speed to overwhelm his opponents. At first glance, Chris seems like a well-mannered young boy. However, his angelic smile hides his devilish demeanor. His Orochi heritage was also retained when Chris was revived, though he pays less heed to it than usual. Orochi Chris openly damns his opponents and burns them mercilessly with purple flames while having his rush-down character attributes, bursts his opponents down at an incredibly high speed

Appearance

In Orochi Chris wears high boots a jacket of oriental design with a short cape, and, long pants with a belt. His hair is neatly cut in a slightly longer style.
