Ultratech’s early and very flawed attempt at creating war machines. These monstrous robots were outfitted with giant chaingun arms, missiles, and multiple rocket boosters. Unfortunately, the whole series got scrapped cause they tended to overheat and break down. However, one unit, known as Kilgore, was faultier than the others. The unit has gained self-awareness and began to destroy everything in sight while constantly modifying itself.
Taking note of this unit’s abilities, ARIA brought him under her control and now uses Kilgore for the benefit of Ultratech.
Despite gaining self-awareness, Kilgore is not quite as sophisticated as the Fulgore series and does not display anything that could be called a personality. As a rogue AI, his only course of action is to wreak havoc and chaos.
Kilgore is a definitive zoner character. He has unparalleled control over the screen with fast projectiles that allow him to control most of the screen and lock people down. Like many zoners, he’s also not exactly great up close. While Kilgore has some decent buttons and useful close-range moves, he prefers to stay away. Even though his damage is on the lower side, good zoning will slowly but surely deplete the opponent’s life bar.
Kilgore is a robot with a metallic humanoid body, with lots of exposed wires and roughly made armor plates. His two prominent features are the arms that end in two large chainguns and his head, which is highlighted with a vertical slot that emits red light.
