Shaheen

Story

Shaheen is a character that joined the Tekken roster relatively late as he was introduced in Tekken 7. Shaheen is fighting against G corp over the death of his friend, Salim. 

The two had been friends for most of their life as Shaheen had saved Salim from an assassin many years ago using the skills his father had taught him. Grateful for being saved, Salim welcomed Shaheen into his wealthy and influential family. So, while Shaheen had lost his family, he had gained another.

Shaheen served as Salim’s bodyguard for a while until the two parted ways. Shaheen to the army, Sahim to become the successor of his family’s oil firm. 

Nowadays, Shaheen works as an operative for a private military outfit. He was shocked when he got news that his lifelong friend, Salim, was dead. While told that his death was accidental, Shaheen remained suspicious especially since the company was subsequently bought out by G corp. 

Shaheen eventually got the information he had always feared: Salim’s death was no accident, and the person behind it was a demonic character called Kazuya Mishima. Enraged, Shaheen vows to take revenge against G corp. To help with his journey, he is approached by Zarif, Salim’s younger brother who presents him with a blade. 

Shaheen is now on a mission to bring down the demon who took his friend away from him, but he is in for a tough battle. 

Personality

Shaheen is an honorable character who believes staunchly in the values of justice. He believes that people must stand up to evil and the propagation of good. He is also a very forgiving character which is highlighted in his decision not to take out revenge against Kazuya whom he had at his mercy. 

Shaheen loves the good life, and believes in second chances.

Playstyle

Shaheen relies on countering his opponents with good pokes and great oki. He is a great beginner character for people just getting into the game. He isn’t so great when it comes to lows as they don’t deal much damage. All in all, he is a solid fighter.

Appearance

Shaheen wears a red shemagh with an agal to hold in place. He also wears a black sleeveless long coat paired with brown pants and black combat boots. He wears a glove and a black sash that hangs around his neck.
