Lidia

Story

Lidia Sobieska grew up in a political family in Poland, with a lineage that stretches back to noble warriors. Despite her young age, Lidia’s innate leadership skills shone early, and she developed a strong sense of duty to her country. Following her father’s passing, Lidia pursued a career in politics to bring about change, all while training in traditional Polish martial arts, particularly karate.

Her rise to prominence was marked by her unrelenting dedication to both her people and her martial discipline. When the Mishima Zaibatsu’s global influence began to threaten Poland, Lidia decided that diplomacy alone wouldn’t be enough. She entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament to confront the corporation directly and defend her homeland from their encroaching power.

Personality

A profound sense of responsibility and justice drives Lidia. She balances her role as a politician with her warrior spirit, believing that true leadership comes from action as much as words. Compassionate and fiercely protective of her people, she values honor and fairness yet never hesitates to fight when the situation demands it.

Playstyle

As a stance-based character, Lidia leans heavily on them for her plan of attack.  Cat, Horse, Striking World and Heaven and Earth are all available to her to flow from one to the other. This last one can only be entered when engaged in HEAT. 

Appearance

Lidia Sobieska's attire is a blend of formal and combat-ready, typically wearing a white karate gi adorned with subtle symbols of Polish heritage. Her blonde hair is tied back, signifying her focus and discipline, while her calm and determined expression reflects her readiness for any challenge.
