Hamilton Rye

Hamilton Rye is a fighting games competitor from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Their key discipline is Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where they main Sheik. Hamilton Rye is also known to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Street Fighter V, where they main Guile.

Hamilton Rye's career in competitive Smash began at MOML 3: Key to Setplay House in 2017 (SSBWU). They played SSBWU, along with the other disciplines in the following years, taking part in such notable events as: 

• 2017: Team Flamewave Tournament #35, Welcome to the Oven (17th place), The Smash Bash #27, Team Flamewave Tournament #37 (5th place), The Smash Bash #28 (the 2nd place), The Smash Bash #34, Cubs Championship Series Qualifier #3 (the 3rd place), Grand Capital Smash # 3, Cora Zone Tournament 2 (the 1st place), Get On My Level 2017, Team Flamewave Tournament #56, Smashing Legends #8 (the 2nd place), Eclipse Smash #11 (the 2nd place). 
• 2018: Grand Capital Smash # 10 and Ultimate Launch Night Party.

Following 2018, Hamilton Rye went on a short hiatus. They returned in 2020 to play SFV at Digital Havoc #32. They have since played SFV at such events as Frostfire 2021 (the 2nd place), The Reversal Online #10, and others.
