DJ Nintendo

Hendrick Pilar "DJ Nintendo" is an American competitive gamer and esports commentator from New York. He mains Ike in SSBU, Mario in SSB4, Bowser in Brawl, with Fox, Pikachu, Samus, and Bowser in SSBM. He is known for high-level play with multiple characters and has garnered renown as the "voice" of the East Coast smash melee circuit.

DJ Nintendo has been competing in Melee since 2002 and was ranked 76th on the 2017 SSBMRank rankings. He took 9th place at CEO 2017, 17th at Super Smash Con 2016, Shine 2017, and Pound 2016 among others.

DJ Nintendo has also competed in Smash Ultimate singles at tournaments like Glitch 6, Let's Make Moves, and Valhalla II. However, he was disqualified from singles at Let's Make Big Moves and Genesis 6 where he partnered with La Luna for doubles matches.

In July 2020, DJ Nintendo was accused of sexual harassment and grooming minor players. He released a statement on Twitter, announcing his intent to distance himself from the smash scene.
