Xiao Hai Wins Fatal Fury CotW, Makes EWC History

Chinese player, Xiao Hai, a legendary master at King Of Fighters, and the Street Fighter 6 winner of the Esports World Cup, has made history by becoming the first winner of a Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves major. 

Xiao Hai is again an Evo champion taking the CotW tournament over Fenritti which then qualifies him for the EWC for the SNK game. On top of this, he is also qualified for the SF6 EWC tournament by virtue of being the winner of the last one. This makes him the first player in EWC history to compete in two games at the competition. 

Xiao Hai is still in the hunt for the SF6 Evo which he could also win, seeing how strong he is. 

Excited about his win, Xiao Hai said: "I'm thrilled to have won the Fatal Fury EVO Japan championship today! Secured spots for both EWC and SWC - all the hard work over this period has paid off. Will keep pushing forward and aim higher!"

With EWC secured for both SF6 and CotW, Xiao Hai will now set his sights on qualifying for Capcom Cup 12.
