Xiao Hai Tops Liquipedia's Most Visited Fighting Game Player Pages
He continues to show his star power

Following the success and interest generated by their 2024 most-visited pages list, Liquipedia, which also hosts a dedicated section for fighting game players, has revealed its 2025 rankings.

The list highlights the player pages that received the most traffic over the past year and, more often than not, it tells an interesting story about the kind of year each player has had.

In 2024, Arslan Ash topped the list, which aligned perfectly with his EVO Championship win and overall stellar season. In 2025, however, he dropped to fifth place, a fascinating outcome considering he won two EVO titles this year.

Topping the 2025 list is Xiao Hai, who climbed from third place last year. He is followed by MenaRD and Blaz, with Kakeru and Arslan Ash rounding out the top five.

One of the most striking takeaways is the sheer popularity of Street Fighter 6. The top three most-visited pages belong to primarily SF6 players, and 13 of the top 20 pages are occupied by SF6 professionals. That said, Xiao Hai’s appeal stretches beyond one title, he is also a major figure in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and The King of Fighters. In 2025, he once again won the Esports World Cup in Street Fighter, while also claiming first place in City of the Wolves at the SNK World Championship Series.

MenaRD enjoyed another historic year, winning two EVO titles, while his team, Bandits, completely dominated Street Fighter League USA. Blaz, meanwhile, fell just short of capturing his first major title but consistently pushed the world’s best, finishing second place at three major events: Capcom Cup, EVO France, and the Esports World Cup.

Kakeru, ranked fourth, secured a memorable Capcom Cup victory, but also stunned the community with his subsequent retirement announcement. This has reignited discussion around the so-called Capcom Cup “curse”, which has now allegedly seen two champions step away from competition following their biggest triumphs.

The list also underlines the enduring legacy of fighting game legends. Veterans such as Daigo Umehara and Tokido remain among the top 20 most-searched pages, while Justin Wong, who has not competed seriously in years and is now better known as a commentator and content creator, still placed 20th overall.

Liquipedia remains one of the most valuable resources for fighting game history, player achievements, and statistical data. Lists like this not only reflect competitive success but also fan engagement, and they serve as a powerful reminder of the growing global interest in the fighting game community.
