Xiao Hai Announces Squashed Beef With Punk

Xiao Hai, who is now the world champion thanks to his win in the Esports World Cup, has announced that he and Evo winner (and also world champion) Punk, are on good terms once again. 

The beef between the two world class players had dominated the conversation with a flurry of snipes at the other. Xiao Hai naming his CFN account 'Always the 2nd' while Punk joked asking Xiao Hai if he was nervous when he won Evo. 

However, that all seems to be a thing of the past with Xiao Hai tweeting that he and Punk are now friends as he congratulated Punk on his Evo win with the other doing the same (Xiao Hai won Evo 2024 for King Of Fighters XV)

Naturally, some people tried to use the situation to troll Punk, but he rebutted by showing a picture of the two of them hugging showing that the beef is over once and for all. 

It was fun while it lasted, but there is certainly mutual respect between the two of them seeing what they have both been able to achieve. With this beef out of the way, maybe Punk can now face Snake Eyez with full fury.
