Evo Japan 2023 lineup

Evo Japan 2023 is coming our way, with three more disciplines announced for the main event lineup. In addition to Guilty Gear -STRIVE-, The King of Fighters XV, TEKKEN 7, and Street Fighter V, there also will be Granblue Fantasy: Versus, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, and Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown. Registration for Evo Japan 2023 will start on November 20, and the event itself will take place on March 31 - February 2, 2023, at Tokyo Big Sight Arena.

Brawlhalla's new collaboration and weapon

During the Brawlhalla World Championship Expo 2022, a couple of announcements were made regarding what to expect from Brawlhalla in the near future. First, Aang, Toph, and Zuko from the popular Nickelodeon show Avatar: The Last Airbender will come to Brawlhalla on November 16.

The developers also introduced a new weapon, Battle Boots, which will be added to the game somewhere in December 2022. 

MultiVersus latest patch

A couple of days ago, patch 1.06 was released for MultiVersus, alongside the time-limited ranked mode alpha. Besides, Black Adam, LeBron James, and several other characters received a couple of fixes. You can check out the full list of changes here on the official website.

Waka Flocka vs. SonicFox

Yes, this is actually happening. A well-known rap artist Waka Flocka challenged SonicFox at fighting games, and now the event is set to happen, organized and supported by NOBï GAMING. If you want more details about the upcoming show, you should sign up through a special form

Street Fighter 6 dynamic controls

A couple of days ago, Game Informer released a video with an exclusive look at "Dynamic Controls" in the upcoming Street Fighter 6. In short, yes, you'll be able to mash buttons and perform some impressive moves, and no, you won't be able to use it online or at tournaments. See it as an accessibility feature for new players and someone who simply want to have fun with their friends. For additional details, check out the full video down below.

The Rumble Fish 2 re-release

A 2D fighter, previously released exclusively for arcade systems in Japan, will soon arrive for all modern platforms. For now, you can check out the character trailer for The Rumble Fish 2

Brawlhalla World Championship Expo 2022

An epic conclusion for the whole year of competitive Brawlhalla took place in Atlanta, USA, on November 4-6. Brawlhalla World Championship Expo 2022 was the first LAN Brawlhalla event since 2019, featuring 1v1 and 2v2 tournaments and a glorious overall prize pool of $500,000. In the end, Snowy and Boomie were victorious in the 2v2 tournament, while Impala, another player from the United States, took down Godly in the 1v1 grand finals.

CPT 2022 - Asia East
