Fuudo wins Topanga Championship IV

Keita "Fuudo" Ai won the Topanga Championship IV by taking down another veteran, Hajime "Tokido" Taniguchi, in a thrilling first-to-ten set, which ended up with a 10-9 score. 

World Warrior tournament series

Last week Capcom released a statement regarding a new pathway to the upcoming Capcom Cup IX set to take place next year. In addition to regional online premiers which we are used to, there also will be a World Warrior path - a new regional program, which will run from July to December and will add another 26 entrants to Capcom Cup. Team Awakened Orochi coming to KOFXV

In August 2022 King of Fighters XV will be joined by Team Awakened Orochi - a different, Awakened form of characters already existing in the base game. Check out the announcement trailer down below.


VSFighting returns in August

Electronic Dojo announced on Twitter, that VSFighting X, the next installment of a well-known British fighting game convention, will take place on August 19-21, in Birmingham, UK, for the first time since 2019. An interesting fact is that the list of featured games lacks Mortal Kombat 11, but has an upcoming DNF Duel.  

Sparg0 is taking a step back from competing

Mexican prodigy and one of the best Smash Ultimate players in the world, Edgar "Sparg0" Valdez, announced on his Twitter that he will take an indefinite break from competing to take care of his mental health. On behalf of the DashFight team, we wish Sparg0 to overcome everything and return to the stage stronger than ever!

CEO 2022 Fighting Game Championship

The last big event before EVO 2022 and one of the most anticipated North American fighting game conventions, Community Effort Orlando 2022, took place the last weekend, including the first tournament of the Tekken World Tour 2022.
