The most complete version of Virtua Fighter 5
SEGA has just released a big new update for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O that adds several important improvements, and a great deal of new content. While the game changes the title to Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage, this is still a free update for all existing owners, and will be a part of the standard edition that goes for $19.99.
The biggest part of this new update is the titular World Stage mode. This mode offers a lot of cosmetic unlocks for completing challenges and defeating increasingly more difficult opponents, some of whom will have AI that is based on top Virtua Fighter players.
Don't expect anything too complex, however. This is the classic type of single player content where you simply fight the CPU opponents over and over.
A much more important addition to those who engage with the main component of the game is the addition of full crossplay and rollback across different platforms, so make sure to enable that in the options. For your training needs, the practice mode and adjacent content has been expanded to offer more help for players across different skill levels.
