Potential Leak of Virtua Fighter Shows New Characters and Gameplay

It seems like the presentation for upcoming Virtua Fighter presentation has leaked. While it's not confirmed yet, someone uploaded a section of a video that shows off new gameplay, new characters, and a developer interview.

While the relevant post is still up, you can find the video below. Even though there is some doubt over authenticity, it's exceptionally unlikely that anything shows in the leak is fake. The gameplay footage doesn't show any sort of temporal or visual artifacts that we would expect from AI, and the same applies to the entirely new developer segments.

In short video we get a glimpse of 4 characters. It opens up with what seems to be Pai's new design, and she's fighting against Cielo, a new original character. Even though Cielo as a name has Spanish origins, the character himself appears to be Asian. We only get to see a small portion of his moveset, but his striking, takedowns, and throws suggest that Cielo is a hybrid MMA fighter.

We also see a bit of Stella and Wolf, though there's not much else to go off of there. Their portion of the presentation seems more focused on the new addition of flowguard and stunner mechanics.

In all likelihood, these were meant to be shown at the upcoming State of Play or Summer Games Fest, so we should see something more definitive pretty soon.
