VF5's Producer Letter Talks Latest Features & Upcoming Events

In this update, Seiji Aoki, producer of VIRTUA FIGHTER 5 R.E.V.O, shares news about the game’s latest features, tournaments, and updates. He highlights the new Replay Mode in Version 1.04 

He also pointed to the VIRTUA FIGHTER Open Championship (VFOC), with the first online qualifier deadline on June 20, leading to the Global Finals. The offline ASIA Qualifier in JAPAN has a registration deadline of June 22. The qualifier will be on July 6 at SEGA’s headquarters.

Aoki announces Version 1.05 for mid-July, featuring player replays in Replay Mode and the ability to hide player names. The update will fix known bugs, with further details in a future letter. It concludes with an invitation for fans to attend the ASIA Qualifier in JAPAN and gratitude for their ongoing support of VIRTUA FIGHTER and SEGA.
