VARREL Welcome Daikoku As Newest Member Of Team

Donuts VARREL, a Japanese esports team who will be competing in Street Fighter League Japan this year, have announced the acquisition of a new player in the person of Daikoku. Daikoku is a Guile player in Street Fighter 6 who has many high placings in the game in his career so far. 

He competed in Street Fighter V using Birdie and announced his retirement back in 2019. But, he returned in 2022 and in Street Fighter 6 picked up Guile and is one of the best character specialists from Japan. 

VARREL announced his participation in their team activities on X accompanied with a video. 

The means he will join Mago, Moke, and Mizuha to compete in Street Fighter League Japan 2024. 

VARREL took on all the players from Gyogun who disbanded a little earlier this year and with Daikoku joining the fray, the team have a replacement for Machabo who was the 4th member last year. 

Street Fighter League Japan will commence in July and we still await the announcement of Reject and Crazy Raccoon.
