The Old Returning Characters in Mortal Kombat 1

There are dozens of characters in the Mortal Kombat Franchise. Though some are clearly icons of the series, like Sub-Zero and Scorpion, who are almost required by law to be in a Mortal Kombat game, there are many more others that were just interesting ideas that the team at NRS wanted to try out. some of these had a far longer stretch in the public's eyes than others, looking at you Kenshi, while others are really niche fighters that many of us might have forgotten, hello Ashrah.

In today's video, we dive deeper into the backstories of these largely unknown characters until now. Though most of these have been wiped out by Liu Kang's timeline, we can still catch a few glimpses as to the echos of their lives long past.
