Tekken 8 Official Passes 2 Million Worldwide Sales

The Tekken team is celebrating a massive milestone today as the undisputed king of 3D fighters breaks the two million sales mark. This puts it a fifth of the way there according to the known estimates of Tekken 7's final major figure of 10 million.

For the first month of the game, that is a resounding success, which puts it in the same ballpark as Street Fighter 6's meteoric rise. The question will, however, linger if Tekken 8 is to dethrone its predecessor and retain a strong player base within just its first few years.
