Tekken 8: Korean Legend JDCR Leaves Karmine Corp
It seems like the end of an era

Korean Tekken legend, JDCR, has ended his relationship with French team, Karmine Corps. While there has yet to be an announcement by the official Karmine Corp account, JDCR made the announcement himself on social media, thanking everyone for their support throughout the year.

JDCR signed on to Karmine Corps in 2024 following the release of Tekken 8, joining French Street Fighter player, Kilzyou, on the team. JDCR had some strong placements over the course of the year including a top 8 finish at Evo 2024.

JDCR has been active since around 2010 where he shone in Tekken 6, but his real heyday was in the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 era where he won multiple tournaments including an Evo in 2014. He was also dominant in Tekken 7 especially in 2017 where he added another Evo to his collection making him one of the most successful Tekken players of all time. e

Some criticised Karmine Corp for not announcing the departure officially, with the CEO coming out with a short statement explaining it was a simple miscommunication and that an announcement was scheduled.
