The Tekken community has been in freefall ever since the release of the season 2 patch for the game. Players have dropped the game, some have taken their grievances online, others have targeted staff and content creators around the game. All in all, there has been an abundance of frustration.
Thankfully, the Tekken team have gone some way in calming the storm, thanks to some communication with the community in which they revealed that the emergency patch will be released on the 17th of April 2025 which is a couple of days away.
In their communication, they outlined some of the changes they would be making. What struck most players was that they were upfront about their failings and apologized for not putting out something that aligned with their previous commitment to players. One of the big changes is that characters will have more health to mitigate instances where momentum is too one-sided.
They also promised to balance high-reward moves over time to ensure that not every character is broken as before anymore.
